Newcastle // LED LID Terrarium Workshops

In today's busy world we are increasingly trying to find ways to bring nature indoors. One method gaining in popularity at the moment are closed terrariums. These miniature self-contained ecosystems not only bring a touch of nature into our indoor spaces but also offer remarkable therapeutic benefits. They are also very easy to look after (in the correct conditions of course) so win, win!

During this 90 minute workshop you will learn about the science behind these self-sustaining ecosystems, I will then quickly demonstrate the process of building a terrarium, the tools and materials required to do so and cover all relevant maintenance and plant care advice. Then it’s over to you to choose your plants and create your own unique terrarium!

Refreshments and nibbles will be provided. You are also welcome to bring own.
